What you do on a Rain Maker Day is "company building." A Rain Maker Day is a 24-hour day in which all you"re permitted to concentrate on is marketing and selling of your Chiropractic services. You are not allowed to work at the office, you are not allowed to see patients, none of that. Merely marketing and practice building.
Abbreviations - If you"re audited, do not count on a chiropractor reviewing your records who will understand what "PRL" or "ASRA" or even "Sublux" means. For that matter, even just a non-chiropractor may have problem with nonspecific abbreviations like "PT." Did you send the individual for Physical Therapy or part time work? The auditor isn"t going to attempt to translate your abbreviations, particularly when a key isn"t present that describes them. An excellent SOAP note with one abbreviation that is unidentifiable can cause you to neglect your audit. So, be sure you"re spelling it out clearly (another advantage to EMR, push the button and the word comes out!) or that you supply a key that clearly interprets all your abbreviations.
